Well...the mechanic looked at it this morning and it's bad...the "rear sub-frame" broke, not just in one place but "all four corners" broke and it dropped. That caused the axle to get broken...and yet undetermined, what else is now broken because of this...sigh...looks like I'm going car shopping. This will be an over $1000 repair, I just put $1300 into this for brakes, rotors, tires. The windshield just cracked due to a rock chip last week which is another $500-600, and the engine light has been on for a couple of weeks (no idea, mechanic can't figure it out), and the rear wiper just stopped working the other day too...it's 11 years old...stuff is going to keep breaking. Is fixing this really worth it?

I just noticed, Your in Canada. Good chance it was caused by Corrosion.

That is a tough call, I would check book value on the vehicle before paying for any repairs.
