Tucson issue - Not revving past 3000rpm
Greetings everyone.
I have an issue with a 2007 Tucson 2 litre crdi.. On a drive back from the customers holiday the vehicle went into limp mode and seemed to be choking itself.
I pulled a code for the dpf and have removed and cleaned that as well as the egr.
The vehicle no longer chokes itself, however on first start up the throttle doesn't do anything for a good 60 seconds and will then rev up to 3000rpm, but no further.
I have removed the pipe going to the throttle body and this is stuck open. When revved, the butterfly flap doesn't move at all. This surely can't be normal?
I have pulled a code for "throttle position sensor". By looking at the body, this cannot be bought seperately.
Anyone else had issues like this?
Thanks, Ash.
