Handbrake warning light on dashboard i20 2016 model
I have just bought a new i20 Hyundai S (2016 model) last week, and have noticed that the handbrake light comes on on the dashboard when I start it, and drive it. (246 ,miles on the clock)
I have checked the brake fluid, and the handbrake itself, and all looks in order.
If I drive it for a few likes, and the car heats up to its normal working temp. then the light goes off. Brakes and everything else is working fine.
Anybody got any ideas, or what could cause it.

I have a 2002 accent and had same problem! Took it to my very knowledgeable highly experienced mechanic. Turns out it needed some oil! Engine oil and handbreak warning light are combined! So may I respectfully suggest that you check to see if the engine oil is low.
