My uncle was the original owner of this car, which he bought brand new. I have been driving it since late 2004 or so. The car has about 140,000 miles, and runs well.

The only major problems are that the horn doesn't work, and the exhaust pipe is broken. A few days before the pipe broke, I drove the car on the highway up to about 70 miles an hour so there is no problem with the engine or transmission. Being a student away at college, I don't have the money or time to keep this car, otherwise I would have kept it and tried to find a way to keep it but cannot do so. 1.8L DOHC 4 cylinder engine saves tons on gas!

Recent work:
Brakes were recently done, master cylinder and all (late 2007 or early 2008)
Valve cover gasket replaced (2007)
Automatic transmission replaced recently (before I got the car in 2004)

Good:
Solid body, no leaks, never been in a major accident
Power door locks
Power windows
Rear defroster
Cruise control
Driver air bag
Factory radio with working cassette player (I use my iPod with a cassette adapter all the time)
Battery recently replaced (a year or two ago)


Bad:
No catalytic converter, needs a new exhaust line, but still runs and drives. (My mechanic estimated $200 for a full exhaust line repair)
Horn doesn't work
AC needs recharging (recharged it a few years ago and it was working, never bothered to recharge it since then)

KBB value as 'fair' is about $900, so I am pricing it at $750 OBO due to the muffler problem. I will consider any reasonable offer
