RE: the ride is soft
Talking about Azera's soft ride:Obiously Hyundai's target was grandma.
Us NASCAR redneckstried several 'fixes' based on old SSS (SCCA & IMSA showroom stock racing) technologies and the one we like best is to accurately cut one coil from the front springs and reuse the original shocks; replace the rear shocks with stiffer shocks. (we made ours to fit at a cost of $100 each). Ride height dropped about3/4" front but thenequal at both ends. The ride satisfies mama and yields good handling as can be seen on you tube's "Hyundai Sundae at VIR". Very satisfactory. Nice thing is the cost is minimal.
PS we didn't find stiffer sway bars help. In all cases the corner speed decreased but yes it was flatter turning. Stopwatches always over rules opinions. Some of us may be multiple time grandpas but we never out grew NASCAR, IMSA, or SCCA. cheers.
