My accent was smoking so I replaced the valves, and rings.  Now most of the smoke is gone, but it still smokes when turning the car on.  It doesnt always happen, but I am about to take it in to get smogged and I dont want to fail because it blows smoke.  Any idea on what else it could be?

try running some seafoam through the top end, and the put a can in the gas to clean the injectors...  but don't put a full can in the top end all at once, it will make i big mess, you can put half a can one day, drive it, then put the other half the next day
