Hello, I have a 98 Sonata when I purchased the car I didn't receive a keyless remote, however I had to change the battery and now it will not start, and the alarm sounds constant unless I disconnect the battery. I call the dealer and they said I would have to tow the car to them, and they could order a new remote and code it. Just wondering if any knows a trick to bypass this thing. Thank you for your help!

You can find a replacement remote and instructions to program it on ebay. It will be a lot cheaper than a dealer.
