Just got an 08 Accent Apple Green! - 10/28/2007 8:44:48 AM    Screendmon   Posts: 1 Joined: 10/28/2007 Status: offline Awesome car! Only thing I dont like is the ashtray (I dont smoke). RE: Just got an 08 Accent Apple Green! - 11/9/2007 7:59:02 PM    clintmeister   Posts: 9 Joined: 11/9/2007 Status: offline   Hello I am new to this forum too.  2 weeks ago I got a apple green Accent also.  The only options I got was auto trans and AC-radio option.  I took the rims off of my Honda del sol (16 inch) and put them on the new car.  I had the rims powder coated white (their a universal rim style).  I am looking at some window tint and just put on the factory "mud flaps".  I was looking at cars when the truck delivering new cars showed up and had this apple green on on it.  I just had to have it.  I checked, honda rims fit on the accent but the center ring needs to be bigger, as it is in the universal rims.  I have had it only 2 weeks and am enjoying it greatly.  This wouldn't let me up load a picture, too large.  Enjoy it.  Clint Smith               aka Clintmeister (in reply to bustednutz) Post #: 3

They have a nice little close ratio gearbox but the 5th gear is either too close or we just need a 6th gear. Think about it, how many cars have you driven in that cruise 65 MPH at 3K rpm? I am used to driving a Chevy Caprice Classic.... i swear you could get that thing up to 65, take yer foot off the gas and it would idle in 5th gear and still keep speed... i just saw the focus SVT with a 6 speed... maybe hyundai could revamp the tranny and broaden the gears a bit, i know first gear is so short, like a granny gear in a big box truck... but nonetheless, i am happy with the car i bought, i plan on driving it till the wheels fall off!
