What would you like to do? If you're looking for more "kick", I've heard that if you reverse the polarity on the wires, it sounds a little stronger. I have the Tiburon Infinity sub (driven by a Tiburon JBL amp) in my Elantra; I tried swapping them and couldn't tell any difference.
No adjustments on the amp whatsoever. It's mounted next to the rear seat on driver's side; you have to take out the left rear quarter trim to get to it. It's held in by four bolts:
