05 Tucson and I love it . Purchased used Aug 06. Last winter on first really cold day (0 F) it balked when accelerating from standstill. Tried drygas. Problem continued through summer. Intermittent but happens more than less, and only from standstill. Embarrassing to bump my way through an intersection. Recently it did stall once, when fully warm. Any thoughts, except a full computer survey?

Not really. It's still under warranty, right? Just have the dealer look at it.

First, the slow ignition pickup, which leads to stall, is part of computer function. But make sure your timing is correct and also use some carb cleaner to make sure your fuel system isn't restricted. Second, make sure your spark plugs are good, especially the correct heat range. Plugs too cold can make start up hard as well as causing stalling as a result of carbon fouling. Third, check your accelerator cable to make sure that there is no delay. a kink or bow in the cable can cause the throttle plate to snap open, suddenly jerking open which will also cause stalling.
