i have a 2002 accent with manual transmission with 60K miles on it.  it always starts from a cold start fine, but after short trips it won't start!  it'll crank a few times but not catch.  but if i wait 30 minutes or so it'll start fine.  also it has stalled on my at stoplights and stop and go traffic and has refused to start.  i've taken it into the dealership 3 times and they aren't able to make it act up and give it back to me untouched.

has anyone had a problem like this?  how did you solve it?  it's driving me nuts!

is it giving an error code? off hand, the idle air sensor, throttle position sensor, mass air flow sensor.

Check for codes and keep the Crank Positioner Sensor on the short list!

sounds like you have a faulty fuel pump, when it gets hot it then it starts to act up. then when it cools off it will start again. a tps, maf nor idle air sensor would not prevent the car from starting. i'd look at the fuel pump.

just a quick check to do is remove the rear seat, then remove the black metal cover. inspect the fuel pump harness connector. unplug it and look at the pins. sometimes they get burnt out.

Must try that so, because its still parked up and am afraid to drive it because it could stop at traffic lights or on a busy road.
Is that the problem that you had with yours?
