my car is having similar problems to the guy who posted about his 98 bogging down and having rough idling/stalling. my car will randomly shut off while idle at lights, and sometimes while driving ill lose throttle response. to counteract this, i had to set my idle manually to have it sit around 800-1000, and its turned wide-open. i checked my sensors, tps is fine, had a problem code with idle control and 1st O2 sensor reading wrong. i recently did timing belt, plugs, wires, coil pack, cleaned fuel injectors.

any help would be appreciated, thanks.

My 1999 tiburon idles between 1500-2500 rpm's when I put in the clutch.  When I come to a stop the idle sticks at 2000-2200 rpm's.  Tonight the check engine light came on steady. Can you help me?
