I have a 2003 Santa Fe. After running the Air conditioner or Heater for about 30 minutes, The airflow changes and does not flow through the vents.  It seems like it blows behind or in the dashboard.  Any Ideas why?

what is happening is that the system goes in fail safe mode. it's a problem with the blend door actuator. just to check, when it changes modes, does it blow in defrost and floor?
