Hello You All.I bought a 2007 Azera 12/4/07.It was the car on show room floor.Traded my 2002 300m.This car never left me roadside but, it was a pc-of-sht.Well I think its safe to say there are two main reasons why we bought the Azera my friends.Body style is better than average and the TAIL LIGHTS ROCK!  Its time to kick back and chill my friends. This is not a sports sedan! This Car rules with tail lights and the sun shade is like the best inovation on board. They cant blind me NOW!Well all I can say about power is that she moves better than most.Life's to short to drive on the edge all the freaken time!  The trans is a little funky but I must learn what she wants too!But I just know that you cant nail it on a whim. You got to give her a little foreplay first-LOL.She's okay on gas but with the horse's, it's just fine.

Couple ?'s.What kind of fuel are you guys running?I been useing Sunoco plus 89 octane. It seems to burn okay.I was told NO BP GAS in this car buy dealer. Is the oil filter in this car a spin on or canister type?Well I must Go my Friends. If you catch up to me on the road just wave and Pass Please-LOL

gas doesn't matter some say shell v-power so it all depends on who you talk to. the filter is not a spin on. canister. glad that you're enjoying your new car.

She wants to run if you do.  Don't be afraid to use the adaptive manumatic tranny if you need to hustle at the on-ramp rodeo.  Costco regular works fine in mine.

I'm pretty pessimistic that the brand of filling station you choose matters much.  Gas is a commodity.  Your local Shell is going to buy from the regional wholesaler, who gets their gas from a refinery--maybe run by BP, maybe by Citgo, or someone else you haven't heard of.  The gas you buy today at your favorite filling station is going to be of different origin (Middle East vs. Africa vs. West Texas) and refinery when you go there enxt month.  I think the only difference is if the local station owner/manager chooses to add Shell's (or Chevron's, or whatever the brand's) additive package into their tanks after taking delivery from the wholesaler via tanker truck.  And even then that may be a bunch of marketing bunk.

Firs, welcome to the furum and congrats on the purchase.

The oil filter is the canister type.

Don't waste your money on fuel above 87 octane.  All Hyundai vehicles are designed to run on 87 octane fuel.  You get zero performance or mileage gains from using higher octane fuel.  It's just a waste of money.  Reat the pic below and the link in my signature.

Personally, I use BP (Amoco) fuel in both my Huyndais and have never had a problem.  I actually perfer BP/Amoco and Chevron.  Unfortunately, I can't get Chevron up here in the NE.
