I need help finding repair manuals for my 2001 Terracan. It is the Latin American version with the 2.5 diesel. I am an ex-pat living in Panama.

The dealer here in Panama is very secretive and guards the service manuals like they were the holy grail! Not even Hyundai will answer my emails. This is the first vehicle I have owned that I have not had the manuals. The vehicle is:

2001 Terracan with the 2.5 TCI engine, auto tranny, left-hand drive
Latin American version (but all instructions and directions are in English)

Right now I am experiencing ingition/glowplug controller (I think) problems. Ignition fails when vehicle warms up and then sits for an hour or so. Any help would be VERY appreciated.

I ordered the engine manual for my 2005 Santa Fe CRDI diesel 3 months ago from Petroautos on Transismica, still not here. $80.00, but they had no problem ordering it.

Thanks. Got my Terracan back today. Was a relay that was "fluttering" when the engine was hot. Will try Petro tomorrow to order the manuals. Did you get them in Spanish or English?
