I bought a 2000 GLS a few weeks ago here in Florida and have a question about mileage.
The org. sticker said 22 city and 27 highway. Im only getting about 18 mpg (325 Mile per tank 87 oct) doing 60% city and 40% highway with the air on.
This seems a bit low to me; and my foot is not THAT heavy. The car has 63000 miles and was very well taken care of. ( Everything ever done to it is documented with receipts) About a year ago the injecters were changed. The air filter is new. The tires are inflated to correct PSI. Anyone have a 2000 GLS V6 that can give me an idea of real world MPG with air on? Thanks, Jason

Hi, I have a 2000 straight 4 here in the UK doing about the same split as you and am getting less than 20 mpg which I thought was a bit low, but having seen your post, perhaps this is all we're going to get! Chris
