grackett -> RE: Clock won't turn off after jump start (2006 Elantra) (1/15/2008 1:00:40 PM)

Just came back from the dealership. They didn't specify what the issue was exactly, just that I need a new clock assembly. It's being ordered and I'll bring it back in next week for replacement. Even funnier, though, is that as they were ordering the replacement part for me and drawing up the paperwork, the tech came back into the office and said "Hey, it's working again" and wasn't too sure what he did, but since it's covered under warranty, they are going to replace it anyway. When they change it out, I may get more info, but I think something happened during my jumpstart to send a shock through the system and reseating the parts was the fix.
