Hi all. New here and looking for some expert advice. My friend needs new CV axles in his 2002 elantra. I am just wondering if anyone here has replaced these and can tell me how difficult it is to do and what is involved?

remove axle nut 32mm, remove 2 strut bolts 17mm, remove tie rod end nut, you also have to raise the vehicle to use a pry bar and pry the axle out of the trans.  you will need a drain pan to catch trans fluid.

Thanks, sounds pretty straightforward, no different than any other FWD car from what I can see.
