17's? wow...yeah anything bigger would not work, beside I have 16" rims and they look huge.

What size tires are you running on the 16" rims?  195/??R16.  You can likely move to a 17" rim, but the tire aspect ratio will need to be different to obtain the same rolling circumference.

I just looked up the spec's for an Accent.  The original wheel was a 13" rim.  I doubt you can buy a 17" tire that would be squat enough to match the original circumference.  I wouldn't invest dollars into this unless you can confirm a 17" rim/tire combo can fit without rubbing in the wheel wells.

When I traded in my Honda Del Sol the dealer let me keep a set of universal rims that are 17X7 with 205 tires.  They fit and don't rub on my 2008 Accent.  But, these tires and rims are "heavy" and they have affected my mileage and power.  I plan on getting some cool moon eyes disk hubcaps add some pinstriping and put them on the stock rim/tire combo.  In the accessories catalog the factory offers a 17X7 with a 205 tire.

My bad, after reviewing I looked and my rims are 16 X 7.  But I still have 205 tires.
It fills the wheel well quite well.  Sorry.

I just put 17's on mine. those are it in my sig. they do rub a little in larger dips at higher speeds in the back, but a little fender modding in the back should fix that i hope. i have also noticed a little bit of a rob in power and gas mileage, especially since having put a k&n cool air intake  (which i highly reocmmend)on not too long ago increased my horse power and gas mileage

damn it seems i can't post a pic
