I have a 1999 Hyundai Elantra with 126000 miles on it.  I just had the trans rebuilt 6000 miles ago and since the first week of bringing it home it will, at all random times and speeds, nuetralize when I am driving.  This is kind of dangerous when I am trying to merge into traffic that is moving at 65mph and I am going no where because the trans wont hit.  I brought the vehicle back twice.  The first time they said they couldnt find anything wrong and the trans is fine.  This time they said the same thing.  They say they took it on a bunch of drives and nothing.  I know that I am not crazy, what could this be.  Any help would be appreciated.

take it to the dealership have them scan the ecu to see if there's DTCs present. then you can take it from there, if nothing present then it's just something internal that's going bad and they fail to see it. you should also try to file some sort of complaint if possible. just my 2 cents
