when the car is off  the exterior lights come on and off at whim draining my battery every night any help would be appreciated

Hi. If you mean the interia light is on when you lock and leave the vehicle: Check all the door switches in turn, including the boot switch, by pressing each switch manually.
If they are all working, proceed to the next check, by opening and closing each door to find which switch is not making contact.

This is no solution to your problem, but it beats having to jump start the car every morning.  Locate the fuse in the box under the dash to the interior lights, and pull it before you leave the car to sit for the night.  Plug it back in before you start the car in the morning.  Yes, it's a hassle.  When the weekend comes, check out all the door and trunk switches as swivelcel suggests to find the one that's shorting out.
