90excelGS -> master cyl. replacement (excel) (2/16/2008 4:28:45 AM)

I will be replacing the master cylinder on a 90mdl. excel today. It looks as straight foward as any, however i am curious if anyone having done this general model might give me a heads up of anything unusual i may encounter. Again, it looks to be a simple R/R followed by bleeding, I appreciate any comments. Thanks, Shaun.

Ok, so delivery of the part came a little late, so maybe tomorrow. Chances are that i'll be doing some more work on the car and I look foward to talking to some of you guys, as i'll likely have another question or two. Who knows... I may end up buying my first Hyundai if this particular one is not an absolute turd. It does have a few issues but the mileage is right (given it's right lol). the color and trim is good too. So, mabye i'll converse with y'all later :)

So the part arrived and installation was a snap. However, i did find a leaking rubber line on the front pass. side. The local parts store had that the next day and all is ok as far as that goes...
