Well now that we have the timing belt changed (by the dealer) it's time to move on to the sparkplugs.  We have the LX model and the dealer wants $250. to do the job.  Is this a job best done by the dealer or can a local machanic do it easily?

The price is high because the upper intake manifold needs to be removed to access the rear plugs.  The intake and throttle body fold back over the rear valve cover and block access to the plugs.  Yes a local mechanic could do it but it might not save you alot of money.  Price it first before you go.
