i have six engine codes that popped up . p1167, p1166 and the other are codes stating that all four of my o2 sensors are in active . took it to a shop today and they told me that there is a fuel line line that runs by the exhaust that shrink trowing the engine into lean so engine compensates by throwin more fuel. now is this true . has any one had this prob. or a solution ? please its killing me with these gas prices. it is an 03 santa fe 2.7 4wd

Never heard of that.  What "shop" did you take it to?  A Hyundai dealer?  Is the car under warranty?  If it is a problem with the O2 sensors, they are covered under the 10/100K drivetrain warranty.

The dealer is saying the engine is starved for fuel, therefore, it's using more fuel.  I heard a lot of dealer lines on this forum that I've wanted to throw out the B.S. flag, but have hesitated.  This time I will.  The dealer and/or the mechanic is full of it.   You may have some oxygen sensor problem based on the two codes you shared, but the rationale laughable.  An engine starved for fuel runs lean, which usually manifests in other problems.  Sounds like yours is running rich.  I'd take the vehicle to another dealer or shop and start over.
