I used to snicker at Hyundai Excels. Now, I'm a proud owner of a 2006 Hyundai Sonata GLS V6. Something I never imagined (even two years ago) I'd do. I was actually going to take a look at the V6 Mazda6. But, the Sonata next door caught my eye. Next thing you know, I was calling my bank. 3 hours later I left my old Dodge van behind and drove home in a zero mileage 2006 Sonata.

Note: I read the Car and Driver review of teh 2006 Sonata. They state a 0-60 of 7.0 sec. I tried it using the automanual. It seems quicker than 7 seconds. I also have to say that the Hyundai name still doesn't get any respect. A Grand Am GT tried to be a little pushy...... I showed him.... The next day a Dodge Ram Hemi pickup tried to annoy me with all his revving..... I obliged and sent him packing...... man, this new Sonata has all sort of aftermarket potential. How I lust to have a supercharger installed......

The new Sonata looks great - And judging by what you've said, you chose wisely! And might I add, that is possibly the cleanest driveway I've ever seen in my life!

Looks like I accidentally deleted that photo. Our house is 5 years old. If my garage looks clean, it's because all the junk is at the 3rd garage space to the left....

Edit. That Hemi-powered Ram pickup I mentioned earlier has an older engine. But, I'm still wondering how I got the drop on him because that truck should have had gobs of torque and hp on tap.... I wouldn't try it again.

It's no so spotless anymore ever since our 95 Ford Contour sprung a gasket leak.

Ooh, sounds like a good time to break out the pressure washer.
