transmission

My daughter drives an Accent 2001 with 42,000 miles. I drove it this am and it is not ALWAYS shifting to first when you stop... also I'm not sure it is shifting otherwise properly at 40 mph it is turning 3000 rpm.

My Hyundais do teh same thing. They are very sensitive and will not downshift into first unless you come to a complete stop. Just slowing to 1-mph won't cut it.
