I have an 06 that the sun visors will not stay up. I am out of warranty so I am looking at a set in the right color on EBAY, but they are for an 05. They look like the same exact visor, but does anyone no for sure if they will fit or not? Auction ends tomorrow, and all the dealerships are closed. Thanks

'05 and '06 are different generation Sonatas, so they may not fit. I'd recommend finding another auction for anything between '06 through '09.

(as I previously posted on another forum...)

I bought my 07 Sonata new, 13 months ago. A couple of months ago, the driver side visor went "crack" as I adjusted it, and then went limp. Last month, at the one-year mark, the passenger side visor did the same thing.

My dealer (Tony Hyundai) had to order the visors, both times, but replaced both for free. No drama, excellent service both times.

I notice a different finish on the new visors, a rougher texture than the felt-like feel of the originals. Feels nicer, actually, like it's better finished.

I asked the service rep, and he confessed that it wasn't the first time they've had to replace visors. The plastic ratcheting mechanism isn't a good idea, too cheap. Hopefully it's not what they use on the Azera and the Genesis.
