Im not having MPG problems yet lol I only have 400 miles on my new 04 santa fe but im wondering what other santa fe owners have found works best to improve MPG. I using my Transshift for all driving and im going to see what kind of mpg that gets me. I read on the forums also that using a blended synthectic oil can add some mpg also. Feel welcome to pipe in and share Oh by the way I have the 2.7L version

Performance wise, you are going to find it hard to find any performance gain mods out there since alot of the owners are afraid of messing around with their warranty. But there are a few (really expensive) mods like adding a supercharger.

TS out

Using a k&n filter and going to syn oil will make some difference. The more air you put in, the more you can take out to help performance. You might think about running dual exhaust and upping the exhaust size to get the most out of it.

I'm not sure if anyone makes them, but headers generally give one of the best HP/$ ratios!
