Hi all, nice site/forum you guys have here.
My problem is when I leave my handbrake on for 1/2 hour or more then go to release it and drive off the brakes are still locked. There is a loud "CLUNCK" and the shes all good. But I can't imagine this would be any good for cable or brake shoes etc. I have read else where to oil/lube it up. I can understand this as part would become dry but what exactly do I oil/lube up? The cable, the shoes?? And where exactly do I do it so it would be most effective. Iam gonna look at replacing shoes soon but cant really afford it at the moment so thought I would give this a go first.
Can anyone help me??
