I just recently purchases a 2001 Accent i've had issues with the check engine light comming on, took it to a Machanic who OBDII'd it to discover that an O2 sensor had gone, not sure which one.

I have an 96 Elantra that's been sitting in a field for a while and was wondering what the chances are that I could swap one out from it and install it to my Accent?

Anythoughs..

O2 sensors aren't that expensive.  Just buy a new one and install it.  I highly doubt that old once from the Elantra would work better if at all.
