A P1128 code by itself usually means the engine is running lean for some unresolved reason that the engine management sensors cannot detect. On some vehicles the MASS Airflow Sensor may be dirty or malfunctioning, but other error codes usually occur with the P1128. The P1128 code alone is usually caused by air leaks on the intake side (vacuum leaks, intake manifold leaks, etc) or an exhaust leak somewhere between the engine and the O2 sensor (rusted out flex pipes are a major wear item related to this and your car is the right age for that). I'd start by checking the integrity of all vacuum lines and the exhaust system. If the intake manifold was removed for some reason and replaced without a new gasket installed, that would be the likely cause.
