I was hoping someone knew where the factory amp is. I went out and bought one of those line out converters, and thought it would be better to hook it up from that area instead of pulling the whole HU out. Thank ya in advance

Guess I should of put more info. I have a 2008 Sonata. Im wanting to put my aftermarket amp and subs in. I read on here that if youwant to use the stock stereo then you gotta havea line out converter. So I went and got one, and thought id splice into the wires right before they got to the factory amp. Unless anyone has any other suggestions

The stock amp is tuck into the right rear quarter panel (see schematic).
