Could always go custom forged from a company that does that, if you're that willing.

ok guys.. i figured since everyhting is apart in my car, i might as well do it the right way..I bored it out to a 2.2L, got oversized Wiseco forged pistons, Pauter forged connecting rods, polished head, T3/T4 Turbonetics Turbo (.46 Turbine, .63 Compressor), 450cc fuel injectors, Vortec 10:1 Fuel Pressure Regualtor, Apex-i Super Air Flow Controller II piggyback unit, all new bearings, all new gaskets, new head bolts, an lsd for my tranny and so much more i can't even think of........ im in the process of dropping hte motor and tranny back into the car as soon as i get the tranny back from my buddy's shop who is puttin the lsd in my car... im hoping to have close to if not over 300 hp by hte time im done..... cross your fingers for me guys

hi you doing bro let me give you an advice im from puerto rico here there is a hyundai accent with a 2.0 liter engine stock internals and is turbo and has a megasquirt programmable ecu and its running with 23 psi of boost and it runs 11 s on the quarter with accent transmission the tiburon factory rods can manage up to 25 depending on setting if you want to run more safer change the pistons to forged or put a wider head gasket to lower compression and with the factory ecu you can run with 10 psi safely believe me im in the same project i have a 2.0 accent and is coming turbo get an msd dis-2 to retard the spark timing and you can run up to 15 psi safely with out changing pistons and rods get good fuel injectors like the mustang ones 330cc or something like that eliminate the air flow meter is more difficult to get a good setting with that ecu goes crazy you dont need to buy so expensive stuff believe what im saying im telling you here are a lot of hyundais turbos running 13 12 11 10 at the quarter mile if you need some advice be free to ask me im here to help in everything that i can
