I went to replace my tires today, as the front passenger tire was split. However, only the front tires could be replaced due to my back rims being bent. I must have driven over some bad potholes or curbs(the roads here are terrible). So I called the dealership and they said that the rims have to be ordered and should arrive next week. Here is the question, are these new rims aluminum or steel? The ones on now are steel, that I can tell. And if these rims are so bent, why haven''t I felt anything different in the car''s handling?

hi, i think the rims a steel but a cheap one, i have had problem with my rims, there bent. U won''t feel it (or u will fill a little bit) if the bent rim is in the rear(back). If the rim is in front then u will fill some vibration or bouncing filling coz a lot is going on in front (CV joint and turning). In my case apart from port holes i think those tire people exchanged and gave me someone else rim coz two of the bolts are not the same as the rest of my bolts (so pay close attention when u take u car for tire rotation or when ur replacing tires. If u keep on buying the same rims after sometime u may have the same problems. unless u dig u pocket and buy some reel rims.
