Well , after getting an estimate from my local heydumgai (hyundai) dealer for $1100 to fix the following, im going to do some of it myself.
Alternator
tension''r pulley
Serpentine Belt
Timing Belt
-
$1100
That may not be a bad estimate, but I don''t have that so I just spent $93 for them to answer a question (worth it in the end).
Anyway, im going to do the alternator, tension pulley and serpentine belt system over the weekend (I''ll leave the timing belt to a pro). I can justify $460 for just the alternator alone when i''ve changed it on my camaro in the past.
Anything I should know in advance going in about either the alt. , belt, or pulley ?
