I never thought I would be on a hyundai site, but I bought a 2003 accent 5spd to save some fuel for the trans am on weekands...and I must say it''s not that bad of a car...painfully slow compared to the T/A but deffinitly alot better on fuel. Alothough I couldn''t help my self and ended up putting an intake on it I had laying around,so at least it makes some noise now haha One question tho? There is a hose left of due to the intake not having a nipple to shove it on...is it going to matter if I leave it off or should I put a filter on it as well (little breather) or should I try to fit it in the new intake?

Welcome to the forum.

Yes, you need that breather.  If you can fabricate an attachment to the intake then put a small filter on the end of it.
