Hi all. I have an 01 Tiburon that cranks but sometimes won''t start. All it does is crank and you can smell the gas coming out the exhaust. After a few tries, it will then fire up but idles rough for a minute or two then runs like a champ. There are no codes that come up either. I had it in for service last week and the dealer had it happen one time and when he hooked it up to see what was going on and it started for him. He let it sit for over 1 1/2 hours and it started up fine again. Its been doing this for a couple of months now at once a week. Sometimes its at night and sometimes it will act up in the morning. The only thing consistant is after it''s sat for 6 or more hours, then it may happen. Any ideas?

Sounds like the car could use a good general tune up, replacing the spark plugs and ignition wires.
