For Accent owners: Did my first oil change, used Castrol 5w-20 synthetic blend with a Fram ph9688 oil filter. No problems at all. Also ripped out the air filter system and installed a new short ram air filter sytem. Again, I encountered no problems. Installation time about 20 minutes if that. Engine ran smooth, noticed less rpms at higher speeds & quicker response from the engine. Thanks, Brant 05 Accent GT

Poacher, I did the oil change just short of 3k on the vehicle. I bought my Accent GT new, it's a 2005. I decided to use the castrol blend aka 5-20w synthetic blend. I usally use Mobil oil however, it was not available at the time. I wind up changing the oil nearly every month. I do 88 mile round trip for work and I have over 4100 miles on her now & I bought the car on September 1st, 2005. The car runs great. I installed a short ram air intake about a week later. For less then $30 off of ebay, the intake works perfect, fit is great and took no time at all to install. Increased MPG's just a bit but, the immediate engine response is the most notable positive aspect of the change / upgrade. Brant
