captive rotors/wheel bearings and slide hammers. - 11/4/2005 10:54:13 AM    miatawnt2b   Posts: 2 Joined: 11/4/2005 Status: offline I used the slide hammer approach on a 96 elantra with captive rotors to replace warped units. When I installed the hubs back on, I just used my impact gun to seat the hub. Is this enough or should I have used teh slide hammer to completely seat the bearing? Thanks, -J Post #: 1
