Lots of determinaton, and more moneyinvested than I wish to say.

Engine swap ffor starters( hello Mr. 2.0)

cams, crank, bearing, rings, rods, higher comp piston, shaved head, port and polish, decreased valve friction

Intake, header, hand built 2 3/4 inch exhaust, high flow cat, Ractive mufler

MSD ignition,platinum 4 plugs,

AEM fuel rail, dual fuel pump, 1500cc injectors

Enlarged oil sump

Fluidyne radiator, HKS intercooler

garrett T66 Turbo

Some other little components that were a pain in the ass to install but the end result is one mean machine. Best of all I kept it basically as a sleeper, until of course you hearthe Turbo X blow-off valve.

As far as I know the largest displacement you can fit under my body style accent is the 2.0. It is cramped in my engine bay. One thing that I may try though is to get a new accent, or newer ..03.04, and try to stuff the Tib GT engine in there.

I am currently serving an Active duty tour of homeland security at Shaw AFB. I am a member of the Vermont Air National Guard.

The Tib's engine fits in there?!?!? Certinally (SP?) not the v-6 engine! I don't think I could drive an Accent with that 6 in it.
