I bought a new 2005 Hyundai Accent GLS 4dr Sedan yesterday. It was advertised for $7,899 plus T/L. I thought it was a great deal so I picked it up for my son. I currently have an Elantra and really like what you get for you money with Hyundai's.

I do have one question though.... Has anyone changed out the stereo in the Accent? Any instruction available here or somewhere else?

Thanks,

Scott

Jetski,
Welcome aboard!!! I have not replaced my cassette player that came standard in my 05 Accent GT. When that goes I'll get CD player til then it stays. Good luck with your vehicles!!

What you will need to do for starters is to go to an electronics shop and see if they have instalation kit for the car.

Welcome to the family!!

When I installed a Kenwood CD head unit in my 03, I didn't need an install kit. Just pulled the old unit out and pulled the two little ears off. There are four screws holding the radio in, and two screws holding the bracket on the radio. I put the brackets on the new radio and put everything back together. The hardest part was making up the wiring harness. That was purchased at Best Buy where I bought everything.

All in all it was a pretty simple process. Like I said the harness was the hardest part!!

Good luck to you.
