Hi,
some theiving ****er decided to stick a screwdriver in my lock the other day and have now broken it. I have brought a new lock but i cant get the old one out! Has anyone done this before and if so is there a clip or something that stops the lock coming out.
Please help!!

Neil, I took my lock barrel out on the passenger side without much bother. you have to remove the door panel first (see www.hmaservice.com for details how), and then you'll see a circular hole on the left hand side of the door where the lock barrel is. Get a socket kit with an extension and remove that bolt, I think it's a 10mm. Then the lock *should* slide back into the body. After that it's only a matter of removing it from the clip (yellow on mine) on the metal rod, which comes off much like the door handle clip does. Once you see it you should pick up on this...
