Its on top of the gas tank I think. I need to replace mine. its the stupidest thing I have ever seen. Let me know all the details. -part # -cost -difficulty rating on the job
If it is indeed on top of the tank on a 2000 model it doesn't sound too easy to get at. But just in case I ever have to change mine , does anyone know where it is located on a 2002 accent ? ? It has the 1.6 engine if that means anything. W.Y.

It is right on top of the fuel tank. NO PROBLEM Just remove the bottom of the back seat and you will see a removable plate . Take that off and it is easy to replace the filter or the sending unit or whatever. No need to drop the tank to replace the filter. Cheers. W.Y.
