Hyundai emission problem - 1/15/2006 12:55:15 PM    ohnojake   Posts: 1 Joined: 1/15/2006 Status: offline Can anyone help?, my Hyundai coupe 1997 1.6 16V has failed the MOT for emissions. The co2 reading is far too high and fluctuates between 0 & 500+ it is also impossible to hold it at 2000 revs. as it drops down after a couple of seconds. Also the tailpipe is sooted up with black!. I have tried the obvious like plugs, air filter etc. Would appreciate any comments. thanks, Jake Post #: 1
