Hi Everyone,

If anyone has any comments that would cool!

I have a 2000 Hyundai Sonata GLSV6

Here's a little backs info:

There were shifting issues, I couldn't get into high gear, Hyundai Service said I needed a new transmission for $2400

So I brought my car to Aamco because they said they would probably beable to diagnose the Transmission properly and charge me less to fix it. Well they charged $2200 :-/

Anyway!
what now happens is when I turn the fan on, the car sounds like its laboring, so I bring it back to Aamco becuase I have a warranty there on the work they just did. They say its the A/C Compressor that needs to be replaced for 700ish $800ish

I think I'm going to bring it back to Hyundai Service for their opinion

Is that job something I could do?.

When the fan is on, it seems to me that the engine/transmission sounds like crud, would that occur if the A/C Compressor is dead , and only the A/C C.?

What do you guys think?

Thanks,
Dana B.
