Has anyone changed their own in cabin air filter on a 2002 Sonata,if so how difficult is it to do ?

I think the 2004 is the same as the 2002. I found this for the 04:

1. After opening the glove box, pull it downward by pressing the both side of glove box inward.

2. Lower the glove box down after taking out the damper strap from the hole.

3. Disconnect the glove box connector.

4. After turning the lever of filter cover, remove the filter cover.

5. Replace the air conditioner filter.

6. Installation is the reverse of removal.

tried to follow this on my 1999 sonata but I could get the glovebox to drop down any further - do I need to undo any screws? Anyone changed the pollen filter on a '99 model sonata? Thanks!
