HELLO WILLS i had this happen and it turned out to be my COMPUTER..in my HYUNDAI its located UNDER the dash on the drivers side..its held in by 2 gold screws..simple to change out..HOWEVER, if this is your problem.., this computer box is VERY expensive..i picked mine up in a junkyard and it was about $100.00..its a gold box about 12 x 8 inches.
If you installl the comuteryou MUSt make sure you shut the car off and pull the ignition key OUT while installing..and make sure oyu get the RIGHT one ..there is a different one for standard shift verses automatic transmission..
before u invest money..make sure your fuel pump, fuel pump relay, or the main starting relay is okay..these relays are rather inexpensive..some of mine have the same part number, so i swap them out to see if that is the probelm before i go buying things,,
GOOD LUCK..i hope this helps..GOOD LUCK :)
Gail

before you go down the route of messing about with the ecu i would check the crank position sensor first very common to fail and cheaper to fix . its located in the engine block on the right of the exhaust down pipe and held in by one 10mm bolt.
