My 1996 Elantra 1.8 keeps stalling, i changed..the fule pump. plugs and wires.. fuel filter. Checked the Cat..changed water coolant sensor.

im at my wits end here. so far $900.00 bucks spent..i need help.

when im driveing on highway or town , she slows right down, no power. I turn the key off as im going and back on, and it runs again for a few miles....... i get a surge of power for a few miles then i have to repeat. all over again....Help Me please.. Don,t know if i should shoot the car or myself.. Thank you

Have you checked the oxygen sensors? Is the car idling high?

No not high, but sometimes it will idel ruf for a few min. then back to normal.
i have no hard time to start it either.

just that it wants to die. then i turn key off and on as im running with it, and im good for a few miles, and i have not checked the O2 sensors.

would that be the probleam ?

have your Hyundai tech test the car with the scanner, doing a "flight recording", he should be able to find the culprit.

iv had the computer checked. its ok. and i used an injector cleaner..and still have same probleams..

i need help quick...please

did the tech do a fligt recording ??????????????????
