Dear All, I am owner for a new HYUNDAI TRAJET (Yr2006 model, 8 seater), 2.0 Litre AUTO (Petrol Engine), and would like to seek advise. 1.1) Any tips for better fuel economy for HYundai Trajet 2.0 ? a) Highway, 50-85 Km/Hr : 7.5 to 8 Km/Litre of Fuel (with aircon turned on) b) Town (frequent stop), max 60 Km/Hr : 6 kM/litre of Fuel (with aircon turned on) *I found Trajet 2.0 consumes too much fuel, compared to my ISUZU Pick-Up (Diesel Turbo Charge Engine) that consumes about 10 to 11 Km/Hr (clocked at 54000 Km already). 1.2) Has anyone try to run Trajet 2.0 on CNG or LPG before ? 1.3) Any possibility to tune the computer for better fuel economy ? Thanks in advance, Hanson Quah

Hi, Three weeks ago we purchased a 2005 Trajet, we were initially very impressed with the car but when we went to collect it and were coming down the freeway doing 100km+ I noticed that there was vibration at the front. No problems I thought, they've put new tyres on and it probably just wants balancing. I rang the dealer and they agreed and said to bring it in the following weekend, so, didn't use the car that week!! Took it in and got the balance done, thought I still detected vibration on the way home but maybe I was imagining it!! My husband came home mid week and decided to check on the rust proofing which we'd paid for and couldn't remove the wheels, one nut on the back tyre was on a cross thread and on the opposite side the nut was completely broken! Rang the dealer and explained that they hadn't been tightened properly and the results and they said to bring it in ( 45 minute drive through city traffic!!) Once there they said that they didn't stock the nuts but would have them in on Saturday so agreed to take it back then. Went back Saturday only to have them discover that not tightening the nuts had apparently stuffed the bearings, which they didn't have in stock!! So now its going in again this weekend for new bearings. During this time we've had a bank holiday where we had arranged to go away and very disgruntled kids because of this. The dealer has been excellent, however this could have been avoided. So, after 3 weeks of owning a Trajet, hopefully this coming weekend I can look forward to finally driving one!!
