Ok well im looking into buying a new car and my friend highly recommends the Hyundai Tiburon. I don't know to much about cars but i have always loved the tiburon body stlye and my friend tells me it's very reliable. I was wondering if anyone could maybe give me some pro's and con's about the tiburons and some little facts like for example on average how long they last. Im looking to buy between a 2000-20004.....i heard the 2002 had alot of problems though ?

Stay away from 2003's. Lots of recalls. 2004 and up are great cars. Had an 03 but traded it in for a 06 SE. I love it. These cars are reliable. And the Tiburons just have so much potential. Are the V6s fast? sort of, but the potential to make them fast is awsome. The V6 is by no means slow. I love my car.

03 tiburons should be ok now as the dealers would have carried out all the recalls by now. imo.

My 03 V6 auto had major front end issues and it stalled randomely at any time for no apparent reason. Dealerships couldnt explain why these things were happening. Im just more comfortable with the 04-06.

I Dont. You should join www.hyundaimods.com and become a member. Alot of people there have some great knowledge and thats what they want to build on. Not A-holes that think they know it all and are better than everybody else.

They're not like NT.com. NT had right idea but let it slip away.
